Belarus Now Hosting Russian Nuke-Capable Missiles, Despite Trump Outreach

A few weeks ago it looked like Belarus might be willing to lean West when it struck a deal with Trump and released over a hundred political prisoners. I thought that was risky for Lukashenko in that he can't afford to upset his main benefactor, Putin. It appears he isn't done leaning mostly East: At the end of last year, Russian nuclear-capable Oreshnik missiles were moved into Belarusian forest (it's almost as if someone read my book). Further, Russia appears to be building a major ammunition plant in Belarus to assist in supplies for the Ukraine War. This is a clever move by Moscow. I suppose Ukraine would need to think twice about attacking a plant in Belarus whereas they'd have no such qualms about attacking one in Russia. https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/blogs/ukrainealert/belarus-hosts-nuclear-capable-russian-missiles-despite-talk-of-us-thaw/
