Another Lopsided Peace Proposal from the White House

On the one hand, Ukraine was finally able to strike inside Russia with US supplied long-range Atacm missiles; Trump lifted restrictions on their use back in October. On the other hand, Trump just unveiled his new 28-point peace plan which, once again, seems lopsided in its demands. It limits the size of Ukraines army to well below current levels; it provides no security guarantee for Ukraine; and it would require Ukraine to cede parts of unoccupied Donbas to Russia, areas which Ukraine has heavily fortified against Russia. What would be required of Putin? His word. Putin would promise not to attack Ukraine or other European countries again. Try again.
